Rocky Mountain Fever Basketball Club Hires New Executive Director
December 6, 2021- Malik Brooks has been hired by the Rocky Mountain Youth Sports (RMYS) board of directors to be the new Executive Director of RMYS. In this executive management position, Malik will be responsible for developing long-term strategies for RMYS, as well as being the chief basketball officer, high school development director, brand ambassador, and community relations/marketing manager for Fever Basketball.
Malik has a bachelor’s degree in Communication from Tabor College in Hillsboro Kansas where he had a very successful basketball career, winning 3 championships during his tenure. He is currently a Realtor in Northern Colorado as well as Head Men’s Basketball Coach at Liberty Common High School. Malik will officially begin his new role with RMYS January 1, 2022.
Rocky Mountain Youth Sports, parent organization to the Rocky Mountain Fever Basketball Club, founded in 2008, offers opportunities for boys in grades 4 through 11 to play competitive basketball.
