Fever Player Fundraising Letters

Are you looking for ways to help offset Fever player registration fees?  One of the most successful programs we have offered over the years is the Fever Player Fundraising letters.  We will provide you with a template and instructions your athlete can use to send a letter to people in your network, friends and neighbors, and local businesses.  Rocky Mountain Youth Sports, parent organization for Rocky Mountain Fever, is a 501c3 non-profit organization.  All donations that are received are tax deductible.

This is a pretty simple way to raise funds.  Here are the steps:

  1. Send an email to the program director requesting a sample letter.  Requests can be sent to playball@feverhoops.com
  2. Gather addresses for family, friends, and businesses to which you would like to send your letter.
  3. Create your own letter.  We encourage you to add a personal touch.
  4. Address envelopes and be sure to add a stamp.
  5. Drop off your letters at your local post office.

Things To Remember:

  • Make sure anyone who sends a donation on your behalf includes your name when they submit their donation so that you get credit for the donation.
  • Ask potential donors to make checks payable to Rocky Mountain Youth Sports (RMYS).
  • Donation should be mailed to:

Rocky Mountain Youth Sports
3307 South College Avenue #200-1
Fort Collins, CO 80525

  • Send a thank you note to anyone who makes a donation in your name.
