RMYS SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION DETAILS

Rocky Mountain Youth Sports (RMYS), parent organization of The Rocky Mountain Fever Basketball Club, believes that participation in youth sports should not be based on a parent’s financial situation.  We will do our best to help families who demonstrate financial need.  RMYS offers needs based financial assistance for Fever club fees based on the guidelines below and subject to available resources.  We are not able to provide financial assistance for travel related fees except in extenuating circumstances determined and approved by the Program Director.

GUIDELINES

All scholarship recipients, either player or family member, may be asked to volunteer at Fever events in exchange for their scholarship assistance.

*Please note that we do not provide scholarship assistance for any family with a combined gross annual income over $70,000. Fundraising opportunities are available for families with a gross income of greater than $70,000.

RMYS reserves the right to award scholarships in amounts other than the amounts listed above.  It is up to the discretion of the program director to consider extenuating circumstances when awarding scholarships.   Furthermore, the amount of money available for scholarships may directly affect the amount of awards offered.

Please also keep in mind that in addition to offering need based scholarships, RMYS offers fundraising opportunities for families.  There are no maximum income requirements to participate in in the fundraising program.  RMYS encourages all families wanting to offset a portion of program fees to participate in the fundraising program.  Please reach out to the program director if you have questions about fundraising options.
